puteri has collected her tickets!

puteri has collected her tickets!

its been exactly a week since puteri won a pair of tickets for mamma mia! the smash hit musical at istana budaya (official website here). finally a customer's rep from the bank called puteri this morning to collect the tickets from him. so off we went there this afternoon, had lunch at a secret recipe's outlet around there as well. tqsm for the tickets! especially to sheryl, if not for her who invited us there... :P

we know that we gonna enjoy the show this sunday at 3pm. looks like we will only go back to
kuale after the show ya... and the kiddos will start schooling the day after.

its nothing much to worry about the school's preparation though as we have already bought the school's stuff i.e. uniform, shoes etc., about a week after we came back from
our kuching holidays. i guess its only the matter of resting times before the school starts. i know i know... its gonna be quite tough for the kiddos also us parents, as you people could see we have been lazying around the school holidays for quite some time. now is the time for us to readjust our daily schedules hehee...

telekom' hari raya tv ads 2008

i suggest, you grab a tissue first before you start watching it...

well at first i don't even thought of placing the above video here in my blog. but when my lil' bro asked me this afternoon, "chor, mikĂ© ada tengok iklan raya telekom (translation: chor (big sis), did you watch telekom' raya ads)?"; then i was like— this must be because he was the sound man, if not for sure he won't ask. he had just arrived alone this afternoon. since his wife has just started work with a new company, so she has to work today. sheryl dear, fyi shafinaz is with the same company with you now, but she's based in hq :)

so i asked lil' bro, "kenapa... miké buat ke (why... did you do it)?".

"ha ah...", he replied. i knew it! see... its always like that where we only know about his work after its completed hehe...

so basically i placed this ad here for me to remember that its part of my lil' bro's work. good job bro!... you really make us proud :)

kuE's pledge

i had a dating with my hero last thursday, but didn't blog about it until i remember that i had to write a movie review about the prince caspian. what's more when i found out that sweettooth is into saving the environment too. good job gal! i am so proud of you. well i am sure sheryl saw me carrying my fav blue pvc shopping bag (refer pic) that day. i love it sooo much and its so convenient. its from guardian. i got it for free during their opening promo sales at a local store here, when i purchased more than RM50 i think. i should have get more.

as you could see from the pic, all the items that we bought were placed in shopping bags except for the take-away pizzas (far end).

i was more than happy when i was asked by a giordano shop' cashier whether i wanna join their "go green campaign"; where i would be entitled for another 5% rebates if i didn't use any of their plastic bags when shopping with them! oh... i guess that was when she realized that i was carrying my own shopping bags. then i was like... wohoo!!!... what a bargain... ya lor... just imagine people-- i have already been given some discounts of RM84.85, and to top it up i got a rebate for RM11.80 (please refer the proof of receipt as per the attachment, or click on the image for a larger view). kudos giordano!

what i did last 2 days...

i won't elaborate them in very details, but here's something than nothing.

yesterday--

as you could see, i met with my beloved sis sheryl for "lunch" at paddington house of pancakes (PHOP) @ the curve! that was not my first time though.

for those who dunno, here's something about this place-- it’s a nice light clean looking place with good service and reasonable prices, again not a place you’d have lunch every day unless you are loaded. they have a massively extensive menu with more different types of pancakes than you could ever imagine! normal pancakes, pankoeks, blitzes, galettes? yeah i didn’t know what any of them were either... go here for the story of PHOP. i definitely recommend checking out paddington house of pancakes if you haven’t.

the meet with sheryl supposed to be at 12.30pm but i was about 1/2 an hour delayed. i woke up late that's why! hehe... besides that i was driving from pandan area to see sheryl. at first i thought that i was gonna be very late but i was wrong. surprisingly i find that the road was not bad at all for a saturday (take note that i should reach there around an hour but then i managed to get there fast enough!). i could also easily locate for a parking bay. i guess maybe its because of the new gas prices! where people are trying to start saving for the future-- NO more eating outside, shopping, etc. people are tend to spend money wisely now.

the day before yesterday--

i went to have a late lunch with puteri and my sister at bangsar village' marmalade. a cheerful brightness greeted us as we entered marmalade. a whole side of the cafe is panelled from floor to ceiling with glass windows allowing malaysia’s pride, sunny skies, to show off its hues of blue, white and yellow. the walls, floors and furnishings are bathed in warm sunlight. this is the place to go for a lift of spirits.

i ordered teriyaki treat (pictured above). it has turkey meat in the sandwich. very delicious. i felt like wanna try puteri's lasagna but i scared that i can't finish mine at the same time so i just ignore my intention. o yes... that's puteri in the pic. can you people see of how fast my puteri has grown. even when we were there at marmalade, people thought that puteri is our youngest sister hahhahaa!!!...

we then headed to OU, where my lil' sis joined us there after work. you know what people. she asked me to make sure to come longer days the next time. it seems that she always find me busy meeting up with friends every time i am in kl. i guess its true. well i have worked there for many years before so you cannot blame me ;) anyhow friends to me are like gems--

a friend is a treasure
a friend is someone we turn to,
when our spirits need a lift.
a friend is someone we treasure,
for our friendship is a gift.
a friend is someone who fills our lives,
with beauty, joy and grace.
and make the world we live in,
a better and happier place.

my friday didn't complete there. all of them went back home but i drove to jalan bukit bintang to meet some ol' friends to catch up on things we missed and at the same time of course to wind down! since we stayed till very late so i end up slept over at a bestie' place in pandan area.

-----

to some of you who i didn't manage to meet, i am so sorry guys, probably some other time ya? in fact there are actually so many more people that i wish to meet, not just bloggers but also fb friends too... argghhh!!!... how i wished that i had more time. dun you think my lil' sis is right :)

finally...

i found her... yay! i remember i told my sis sheryl once before that i was looking for her high and low, ever since i left kl life. i even asked her (sheryl) to let me know if she came across this lady. i shall blog about how and when i found her in my next post. so, anyone out there in klang valley happened to know her? as for now i can sleep well, safe and sound :) and before i forgot, i wanna thank Him for this. till then... nite-nite!

6 more days to go...

yes! its gonna be 6 more days for us to celebrate our country's 50th national day. and when everyone are in the mood for it, i was kinda pissed-off looking at this...

hmm... why you asked? we were having lunch at a swensen's outlet in queensbay mall (again?!!)... lol. yea... the last time we went there was about two weeks ago. i guess its already in my list for one of my favourite shopping places ;)

alright, pic shown was megat's sourdough 49ers chicken. one thing for sure... why on earth they still stick those two tiny u.s. flags on the buns, when we are in the merdeka mood. ya... ya... i know its incorporated in the u.s. but i guess its not wrong right, if you would change the style according to our country's life, at least once a year. in fact i didn't even see any malaysian flag hanging in the premise. what happened guys?

some how or rather, i was A BIT happy when i got the chance to have my favourite dessert there, apple crumble. i admit. but still, look out there... our country's flag were hanging everywhere--

1. juru toll plaza at PLUS highway

2. R&R at gunung semanggol

...and many more. sad to say that i can't seems to take more pics as my oly was out of battery. dammit! i should have check the night before but i forgot :P

anyhow, i hope that the management of the local swensen's should look into this matter seriously.

p/s like i mentioned before, do not forget to watch this via tv3 on the 28th (tuesday), at 9pm. if i'm not mistaken, the telemovie's trailer appeared on tv already ;)

to my dear sheryl: sorry sis, your size were out-of-stock, except for the one white/fuschia sassari, that you already have ;) i'll try again in about two weeks.

sassari crocs: love at first sight!

we didn't go anywhere last weekend. but then we already decided to go over to queensbay mall this week for a wind-down sunday, only the three of us! as usual, we started our journey very early (this time before 9 am), so that we could get an easy parking.

one of the main reasons for us to go there were to get the latest 'in' thingy by crocs for puteri and naddy (who can't get the one she wanted in kl). so since we were one of the earliest to arrive at the mall, we head over to paddington house of pancakes first. then only we went up straight to crocs shop at level 2. although there were a family before us and there was only one sales girl at that time, to handle everything herself, i could say that she was so patience to entertain every each of her customers.

puteri smiled when she saw the white and fuchsia sassari. she immediately tried the display piece and she loves it. while i asked the sales girl for an all-black sassari in size 6 (for naddy of course). after that i asked her to take the same type of shoes in size 5. i tried them. gee... i thought they look so plain, but my feet look nice in them. i don't care, i just got to get them too. at last tadaa... i paid for four pairs! lol... including one disney crocs for megat.

i find that the sassari crocs shoe is the first croc shoe to feature a high heel. this womans wedge shoe combines
fashion with comfort, rather than those with holes. just look at the pics people... i am definitely right in my words ya? so as you could see, thats my sassari, while the two boxes in the background were puteri's (below) and naddy's. megat wore his right away! well in my opinion, i think kids are okay to wear the one with holes but not adults ;)

to my dear sheryl:
look at me sis, i have bought a pair of sassari crocs for myself too! not just for puteri hehe...

kuE's 2007 do

i decided to post this, since i remember sheryl asked me about it during our last meet.

i was about to sit when i arrived, that she asked me, "eh... you cut your hair?".

hehe... yes sis... so i dunno whether you people realized it or not too in some of my post recently. to think back, i cut my hair for a new look in early june if i'm not mistaken. i went to kl maybe a few days after that and met sheryl and lich. i didn't mention anything about my hair to them. but lich did ask megat i think. megat loves my new look anyway ;) so sis, didn't you realize it that time? lol...

sometime in april when i met sheryl, lich and leilanie, leilanie mentioned about my hair which was getting longer. actually way before that, i was already thought of doing something about it but my goddamn hairdresser didn't want to c-u-t it! u know... it seems that i am suitable with that long straight hair. err... ye ke?... or is it cuz there would normally be more charges for long hair right. hehe... no lar... i am not that calcalative occay?!! i was just wanted to have a new look. its been quite some time since i have that previous look - its been years i think.

so at last i went to see my mom's hairdresser instead. tadaaa... there you are lol... i love the way she cut my hair. neat. what say you people?

crocs everywhere

we had a great lunch with sheryl at marché @ the curve yesterday. sheryl showed us her newly bought white/fuchsia croc' sassari. it didn't surprise me at all when puteri also fell in love with those new product i.e. especially the nice and cute design plus puteri's favourite color - will definitely get one for her.

i remember some time ago when i asked puteri whether she also want one of the crocs. she was like 'blerk'! she hate those with holes, not her type at all. same here.

well there are so many types of design for adults and children. anyhow i guess its not worth it to buy one for smaller children, unless if you really have a good income. its rather expensive for some, thus its not suitable for the children at all, as they intense to grow fast. what say you?

what is your vision for malaysia

"Malaysia will celebrate 50 years of independence in 2007. In celebrating this milestone, the government has planned a celebration with the theme “Celebrating 50 Years of Nationhood” in an effort to create patriotism and the nationalistic spirit amongst Malaysians.

Yayasan Harapan Kanak Kanak Malaysia (YHKM) with the collaboration of ten (10) other Non Governmental Organizations representing various children’s causes will also participate in celebrating Malaysia’s 50th Anniversary through a special, unique campaign called ‘Our Vision for the Nation’, the objective of this campaign is to ensure that the vision and hope of children will be heard by leaders of our country and shared amongst Malaysians.

These photographs will be made into a montage in the form of a Malaysian flag to be raised on 31st August 2007. The children's vision will be compiled and presented to the nation's leaders." -- vision of the nation.

megat and i were walking through the level 2 of 1U, new wing on last saturday when we bumped into vision for the nation booth. some of you people may know that i am kinda generous when its come to charity thingy -- its all explained here ;)

well there we were... as you could see from the above pic, they will take pics of the kids, apart from receiving donation from the publics. those pics will be made into a montage in the form of a malaysian flag to be raised on 31 august 2007. besides that the children's vision will be compiled and presented to pak lah, insya-allah. we have done our part by donating some monies. how about you? come on people... let us all help with only a minimum sum of RM3.

-----

with regards to the 50th merdeka celebration this year also many are busy doing their part. one of them includes a production house people whose been here in kuale for quite some time to complete a drama on that. there were at puteri's school last saturday for the same reason too.

while the team was here in our place today. i snap the attached pic when i wanted to go out for a meeting in ipoh, with some members of our task force this morning -- check-out the flags hanged at the porch people :) from what we understood the drama will be screened on merdeka day this year via tv3.

-----

guess what people. both puteri and megat didn't go to school today! we arrived from kl only this morning around 2+ am. unfortunately we can't go in as i left my house key in my luggage, which was with my dad. mom and him was driving wayyy behind us. we went in once they reached home at about 3.30 am. by the time i changed, washed my face etc., went to bed, it was already 4.30 am. i didn't even realize it when the alarm clock rang gosh... i was stunned when i saw that it was already bright outside. i rushed to puteri's then megat's room to check on them. it was too late by then. hmm... everyone in the house awoke late too -- the production team people already waited for us outside lol...

well i was there to attend wedding reception both on saturday and sunday night. and the best thing also was that the venue was at the same place -- dewan perdana felda ;) (i will load the pics in my next blog post).

earlier we arrived kl by 2pm. megat and i had lunch at waffle world. i simply wanna try my luck when i sms naddy after i finished my meal. i wanted to hand her something. not long after that, we met, but only for a short while. we managed to have a quick hi... hi... bye bye... i hope that you like it! not forgetting rose and sheryl too!... -- thanks to lich :D

3-in-1 !!!

its been nearly three days i didn't blog, hence the title ;) juz like that beverage huh?!! so this is basically what i had been up to in these three days :D

today

we were already at the curve by 9.30am! well if you had read my shopping-related entries before, you could realize it by now that i like to be there at the shopping mall as early as i could. one of the main reason was that for an easy parking. i even can choose the one very near to the entrance.

my sister thought that we were early. unfortunately there were many more who reached first before us. to prove that was when we were walking towards ikea. my sister suggested us to have breakfast at ikea. the response was tremendously good i tell you.

i decided to get some stuff from cold storage i.e. biscuits, chocolate and such; since i can't find like those in kuale ;)

we headed back to the curve, strolling down to the flea market. its one of the reasons that i wanted to stay until today and not yesterday. and luckily i did! i found a nice and cute white case, with blue transferable stone for my new digicam (refer pic), while my sister bought the one in pink. we send my sis back to her place thereafter, before we headed straight back home. hmm... the next trip must be more days to be reserved for shoppiinnngggg!!!... that ain't never enough for us ladies lol...

yesterday

i had lunch with sheryl and lich at chili's, klcc. we waited for them from 12 noon. but its alright, that we got a place before hand right. i sms sheryl the table number, then she came at about 1+ pm in a nice green baju kurung. wow!!! you really looks damn beautiful sis. i was only in my blouse and skirt when i saw sheryl's appearance that i thought, no wonder, as it was friday hehe... anyhow she just reminded me as when i was in my office life in kl before too.

lich came not long after sheryl. we exchanged gift blah blah blah... thank you so much for the belated birthday gift. you don't have to... really. and megat was so proud that he got you the cute dolly that resembles 'auntie sheryl'. guess what people... megat surprised lich with his 'cepu emas' (a bag of gold?) question!!! hehe... he's not satisfied with your answer ler dude lol...

we continued our mother-son outing to MV where i met another loved ones at chili's (also/again?). i won't tell much about him just yet. maybe some other time. what i could say is that we really had a great time meeting each other. sometimes we just hoped that kuale/kl are just minutes away ;)

the day before yesterday

i arrived kl before 11 am on thursday. sorry naddy, i knew that i can't get there on time. that's why i asked you not to wait for me. thats also an excuse for me to have a meet-up with sheryl (and lich). well there's always some other time...

i dropped-by my sis' place for a short while before i went out again to meet a friend somewhere at the curve. but before that i managed to take this pic (left). what ler the lady was doing. well yea... that pic showed that she was feeding her lil' baby with her lil' girl, standing right next to her. when i first arrived there, the lady with her children were walking from house to house, calling people with her salam. i dunno whether to pity her or not. but you know... its dangerous to trust this kind of people, especially indons like her.

meeting sheryl, lich & leilanie

my 2D/1N weekend trip to kl this time was so packed i tell you. i only managed to leave kuale around 5.30pm yesterday. everybody already left much earlier. i left behind because i was one of the committee at a community event in aulong, taiping for that very morning. so i had to come back here first. the most important thing was that i haven't send my 4wd for service hehe... once that completed, then only i felt safe to travel. i decided to dress-up right from here and go straight to shah alam, for my cousin charlie's wedding last night. thanks a lot to leilanie for the direction ;) sorry no pics of the wedding, no mood ler... anyhow all i could say that it was a great one, having sultan of pahang as one of the royal guest, with slides about both the bride and groom prepared by charlie himself. well congratulations to both of you charlie & yatt. may you be blessed with much love till the end of time.

i woke-up very early this morning, although it was sunday. i already had plan to bring my puteri and megat with my nephew shahriman to watch disney on ice' 11am show at bukit jalil. click here to view pics of the show that i have taken. i had to send shahriman to his uncle's (my cousin) place before i go to the curve for my next appointment.

sheryl and lich already waited for me at tgif. i was of course with puteri and megat. unfortunately puteri was shy, juz like when i wanted to go for the penang blogger meet last time. as soon as we got in, she make an
excuse to go to the washroom, but then she disappeared. we thought that maybe she was shy with lich around lol... not long after that, leilanie joined us. tadaa!!!... hmm... surprised or not you all hehe... i plan not to tell either three of you :D someone must be 'terkezut beruk' rotfl... we really had a damn great hours anyway, being only known each other thru blogs. that's the wonders of blogging!

after so much of talking, then it was cam whore time!!! all pics taken by megat with my nokia6680. hey people, guess what... i only knew about this word (cam whore) when i was at the penang blogger meet ;)

tremendously sweet leilanie

hmm... aren't they cute

i love this pic (p/s those 3 boxes were lich' fruitcakes all the way from ipoh mali, courtesy of kay and i, which was a moment to remember)

smile!!!... ;)

we left the place around 5.30pm. thank you (again) lich for the treat. hey dude... leilanie asked me whether sheryl and you are girlfriend and boyfriend hehe... i dunno... you better answer that lol...

o yes, before i forgot... to leilanie, tqsm for the butterfly t-shirt, love it! to sheryl, i love a dozen of the pink roses, tqqq mwahh...

meeting sheryl & lich

aiyaa... i hate it when i got something to blog about but doesn't seems to have some spare time for it ;)

anyhow i was in kl for a day-trip last thursday. i went there just to send both my grandmother and mom. they went to jb on friday together with my two sisters and auntie for a cousin's wedding. that means i will come down to kl again this weekend for charlie's another wedding reception (groom's side) on saturday night. while on sunday morning, am gonna bring puteri and megat with my nephew shahriman, to watch disney on ice, 11am show at bukit jalil. i have bought the tickets way in january at music valley in greentown, ipoh.

so back to the story of my trip on last thursday, i had the chance to have lunch with sheryl and lich. we were supposed to meet at chilli's in klcc but since it was full, we met at aseana cafe instead. i was late. sorry ler... it was damn long time that i didn't get into those traffic-jam thingy, that i was cursing myself to be around the city especially during the peak hours. it was fun though i tell you. that was my first time meeting lich. we were laughing like hell when he told us about the day he met my mom few weeks ago hehe... sorry lar dude... i just can't stop laughing lol... the best part was when sheryl and i kissed goodbye. he was asking/teasing (?) me whether i wanna kissed him too. hey... i dun mind at all ler... its just a small matter. even i did the same with all my long time kl friends (including my former colleagues), no matter males or females. tu lar... dun play-play with me ek? thanks for the lunch anyway, although you were teasing me to belanja you in the first place. hey... tak gentleman ler kan, if you didn't belanja us, kan? ;) i will be there again during the weekend. if you are free, just hola!

lots to tell about 2/3

/2...

oh my... what a weekend ;)

we (kids & me) came back from our two nights stay in taiping this morning. it was absolutely great especially when i could spare some time with them, even though i had to be there for work earlier.

well, before i go any further, let me tell ya a bit of what happened last week. i was in kl for three nights since friday. i supposed to have appointment with some friends on that night but you know... i was afraid if i would be tired. so i told them to meet on saturday instead. so we just had dinner at ikea as soon as we reached there around 8pm or so before we proceed straight back home.

i am lucky to have such understanding children. after we had breakfast at mcD in mutiara damansara, i send them to my auntie's house in ttdi. i was with my friends all day that saturday. they didn't even bother to ask or call me. i was the one who called them via puteri's phone once in a while. i lepak with friends, catching-up on things we missed. it was saturday night. as usual, we were at la bodega, telawi road in bangsar. as usual too, that was the time when i had my unusual drinks in klang valley only hehe... wonder whether you understand what i meant ;) you know, when we were surrounded with our long-time friends. its hard to disappoint them. koboi was no longer there but our friend wan still there though. however koboi was with us too. you could see wan's pic in their what's on page. i was not sure what wan made me that night. its kinda mix of part of v---- with chocolate i guess :) i like it though. our nights didn't end there. they brought me to another new place to go in heritage row. old terraces converted into pubs and restaurants, this seems to be the place for the trendy crowd. they know that i seldom be with them in kl since i came back here three years ago. that's why they brought me there :P great place. it was 11.30pm that i told them that i had to go. koboi teased me that i was like a cinderella, who has to go back before the clock struck midnight. who cares man... i have to pick-up my kids at my auntie's place. by the time i reached ttdi, megat already slept.

the next morning was spent with kids. in fact i was with them the whole day. enough with friends. my youngest sister joined us at the curve. we had our brunch at one of our favourites, paddington house of pancakes. after that it was shopping time!!! i got myself some new skirts and blouses and some accessories. we went back home around 3pm.

that evening i brought kids to leilanie's place for raya. i met sheryl for the first time! i guess we could get-along very well. maybe we have known each other via our blogs—that’s the wonders of blogging. like in my case, at first i was wondering whether i was in the real-life when i saw leilanie's mom. then i saw her brother and her dad. then her son. i was telling myself, "i knew them!"... they were all featured in leilanie's blog. how about you people? did you have the same feeling like me, when you met your blogger friends. anyhow here's some pics that we snapped that night. like leilanie said, "bloggers won't leave home without taking pics"; right? lol...

look at leilanie's busy hand ;)

group pic taken by sheryl's friend

well people, that's it for now. so many things to tell about huh?!! i will tell more about my taiping trip in my next post ;)

kuE's secret revealed

i blog about a friend who was asking about my secret few weeks ago. tadaa... here's the place people, where i get my supplies. its called ambiance located at the bsc. i met my sister there around 7pm on saturday. as usual, i bought some aromatheraphy soaps for myself. at the same time we bought some bithday presents for our cousin too. that shop is a MUST-go-place for me whenever i go to kl. now that you all have known my secret, why don't you try it yourself. once you try it you never wanna stop, i bet you.

from bangsar, we headed back to our auntie's place in ttdi. that was our meeting point before we went out together with all the other girl cousins for some saturday night out at la bodega in jalan telawi. the night was meant to celebrate those who had their birthdays in may including me! it was really a blast- we had so much fun together. thank you so much to all my wonderful sisters and cousins for the great night. it seems that they purposely chose that night because they knew that i would be coming over ;)

earlier that day i met my beloved friend
rose at the curve. sheryl was supposed to be there too but she has some more important matters to attend to. its alright darling, just take care of yourself. there's always another time. with rose, i feel like there's that special bonding between us. we really had a great time that evening. i guess its all thanks to camus for tracking me! rose gave me a butterfly shawl (its definitely beautiful darling). she also passed me a lovely present from CK- a set of chomel' purple stone of butterfly necklace and bracelet. darn! i was damn surprised. its so nice of you two darlings. i hope that this friendship will last forever. thank you so much mwahhh.....

guess what people. i went back to the curve on the next day (yesterday). i found a cute purple colour butterfly handbag at MJ. gosh! that would matched my gift from CK. i could also wear them during my lil' bro's engagement day next month. without much thinking, i straight away grabbed and paid it. solved a problem ;)

o yea, the above shortbread biscuit was the one i baked for rose' kids. i hope that they like it.

kuE's update on 23/05/06: i am so sorry there was some misunderstanding on my side. both of the gifts that rose brought for me were from her and CK and not as stated above ;)

kuE's update on 28/05/06: click here to read rose' version of her story ;)

I'm a Guest Blogger, I am

Hello EVERYONE.......................

It's me, Leilanie from the SweetLeilanie blogsite.
A lot of people call me Lanie, but some just call me Leila - pronouncing my name as a whole, Leilanie, seems to be a mouthful to some people. So, I'm pretty much OK with anything as long as it's not Leleni, or Lennie, or Lelaki, or Elaine (yeh! the lady who does my hair calls me that).

How did I get here............ hmmm...........
Here's my SMS conversation with kuE at 9.55a.m :

kuE :
gm dear. fyi m hvng bfst wz pu3 @ coffee bean. she has 2 b at d dance centre at 10.20, jus a few blks away. i'd like 2 b my guest blogger if u r free. my id-xxxxxx n password-yyyyy. mwahh....

kuE :

Leilanie :
oh ok. But what do you want me to write about? Anything specific? I have a meeting to attend now and can only do later, ok. My love and luck to your sweet Puteri for her ballet test.

kuE :

Leilanie :
Orait dear

kuE :
pu3 said tq. hugs n kisses 2 u.

Leilanie :
She'll do well......... Tell her she will........ Because she's an angel :)

So, I'm done with the 10am meeting with CXXX and the 12pm meeting with Bank MYYY, and am now happily typing away for kuE.

Then, I realised that I keyed in every single word - I spelled everything in full (look at the SMS above) .............. I crossed every single T and dotted all the I's; while kuE was just selamba-dek using all the shortcuts. No wonder I couldn't understand what she wanted me to do when I read her 1st SMS. hee hee.
But it's not her, it's just me. I'm such a %#$@&(*^#.
I admire people who can come up with such creative ancronyms.

So, to Pu3 from Auntie Leilanie - here's a special message to you, with love :
Gd luck 4 ur ballet test 2day. I knw U will ACE e' test. U R 1 talented girl N U will do well rgdless. Dance l'tle princess dance...... Study smart N play hard! Hugs N kisses 2 U fr aunt Lei.

kuE's note:

Leilanie dear, thank you so much for being my guest blogger yesterday. it was such a fun and great idea isn't it. hmm... wonder whose my next victim lol. i guess you'd be wondering of how i came across all those ancronyms very well huh? well, i used to be a secretary and P.A. many years ago thats why hehe...

FYI i didn't change a thing on Leilanie's post except my cyber-nick name. it was supposed to be typed as such to emphasize the pronounciation correctly i.e. kuE ~ pronounced as ku - E ('e' as per the letter E) ;)

i am so sorry people for the misunderstanding. my nick-name kuE was given by an auntie whose also my dad's koleq's friend' wife. of course my real-life nick name is different. i guess maybe a few of my new friends knew like cikun, hasnul, rose (?), Leilanie (?) and Sheryl (?). Annamox also dunno my real-life nick name even if we have met once. sorry people i do not want to use my real-life nick name here in this cyber world. i hope you all understand me.

p/s- pics of puteri to be posted soon.

hugs, kuE

call or not to call ;)

asp nazri* came to see me at my office this morning. 'terkezut' i... ya lor... i was concentrating giler, typing my worksheet, suddenly i saw two policemen with uniforms (my office is with glass-wall, remember?) came in. one of them talked something with my cashier. he then knocked on my office door and opened it.

"boleh saya masuk, kacau awak sekejap", asp nazri* asked me. woik... you asked that after you came in?!! i juz hangguk-hangguk.

"its about
the case. you and your dad are required to attend for the proceedings at the court on raya kedua", asp nazri* told me with a mix of english and malay. normal lor...

"here? ", i asked him.

"no. taiping. i'll get back to you to reconfirm and let you know the time".

"okay".

"so, apa-apa nanti saya contact awak".

hmm...

dunno whether they managed to catch the culprits. i was shocked mannn... seeing asp nazri until i totally forgot to ask about it. i know i didn't post anything about
THE case. it was really an unforgettable incident. i could even remember the date within a blink- 25.07.2005. i dun have the guts to write about it yet. maybe i'll do it when i feel that its time to do so! whatever it is, i WILL do it someday. i owe this type of story to sheryl anyway. i just hope for one thing at the court there next week- NO press plzzzzzzzzz... the case was published in almost every papers for northern region including nanyang siang pau and china press. while for nations maybe like harian metro. i knew this because rizal called from jb to inform me about it. heyyy.... of course i won't place a link to it here rite ;)

"apsal kak... ", my staff asked as soon as asp nazri and another policeman walked out.

i told them roughly of what it was about. they were not keypochi but they are concerned a lot about me.

"ishh... saje nye tu kak... macam lar dia tak de nombor fon kak... benda boleh call je...", my cashier told me.

"hehe... itu ada niat lain tu...", my other staff continued.

its true. as though like asp nazri* dun have my fon number i.e. home, office and my cell-fon lol...

kuE's note: i sms some of my closed family, relatives and friends about the above. correction to that policeman's name- its supposed to be asp nazri and not koperal nazri as i sms earlier ;)

first day

today is definitely not the first day of the year 2006. its the first day of schools lor... as what i understand from david, its the first day of schools for vancouver too. sorry, i'm not sure whether its for the whole canada as well. he can't comment anything here because he dunno that i have my own personal blog. in fact we have one together. maybe i'll tell this personally to my closed ones like leilanie, rose, sheryl etc. this is damn important as david really cannot know about this at all!

anyhow megat looked so damn nervous this morning. that was his first day of school in standard one. as usual, he would asked me so many q like why he has to wear the singlet, why can't he not tug-in his white shirt blah blah blah. hmm... i guess rose knows what i meant kan kan kan huh?!!... megat used to wake-up early so 6.30 is ok for him. besides i've already informed this to him wayyy months ago. he was so excited when i gave him a RM1.00 note for his duit belanja. i didn't wait for him in school. he just requested me to go there during recess time with excuse that, "i dunno how to use my money yet". i know its hard for him to cope with the new environment. its different from his kindy life. i told him that previously alan che che would served everything for him and the rest of his school-mates during makan but this time he has to find his way all by himself. i bought
buku wang saku for him and puteri, in order for them to learn how to save money from now. megat didn't write his yet. i promised to teach him after i come back.

for my puteri, she managed everything herself. puteri is a big girl now, just turned 11 last 17 december. what i'm most afraid of is the upsr exams for her this year *duh*. i would definitely try my very best to help puteri to venture into her standard six life all year through. may she would be blessed with flying colours :D

awrite... didn't go anywhere yesterday. already told kids much more earlier that we need at least a day rest before they start schools. so its really a stay-at-home day yesterday. maybe i brought puteri to the local saloon in the evening for few hours, for us to manja ourselves there, just the two of us, mother-and-daughter ;)

our weekends were packed!

saturday- since bank opened 1/2 day, i still went to office to settle a few stuff. so tup tap tup tap... by 10.15, we left to ipoh. once reached kinta city (maybe +/-10.40, we headed straight to
tgv. the first movie in-line was afdlin shauki's baik punya cilok at 11.05. ok lor... besides its 'U'-rated.

sorry to disappoint you guys but there will be no spoiler. but yet, i feel like to leave some few pointers regarding this movie. the comedy was simply hillarious; i almost laugh in tears especially the knife dodging training scene between awie and harun salim bachik.

the storyline depends on flashback scene to explain each character life in the past and believe me there’s lot of it. aben played by afdlin shauki even imitate cat ruffedge by dressing up like him and also have the same hair style. there’s also a bookie character (don’t know the actor name) speaking pure kelantan-english slang. now that’s really something to be heard.

unfortunately there something wrong with the flow of the story or what we call as the x-factor that makes the movie this good into something boring. and the mood is not consistent enough to generate excitement and feel to the movie. there are also many gaps in the humor that result in dull moments. i rather not explain, you have to watch yourself. we even skip king kong just to watch this movie.

thereafter, we went to mph. i love to browsing around the bookstore and encouraged my kids to do the same. we got some books from there too. then we went to jaya jusco to get puteri and megat's school stuff.

sunday- i wanted to get up as early as 5.30 or 6 to complete some chores before we went out again that day. but then i ended up woke at 7! ;) anyhow... we left home much more earlier around 9. this time we went straight to kinta city too but we just went there for breakfast at coffee bean.

we left there almost 11 for
lost world of tambun as promised many weeks ago. i got our tickets last friday, printed from my very own samsung ml-1710 laser printer. well, i bought it on-line via sunway online ticketing service. blimey, its my first time there too! when we got there, i was so damn surprised to look at the ticket prices on the banner- RM21.00 for adult and RM16.00 for children under 13 years old. i was not surprised looking at the prices whether its expensive or not i dun care because i have already promised my kids. i was holding my tickets of 1 X RM17.00 for adult and 2 X RM12.00 for children. i was wondering whether i paid the right amount. then i thought to myself, never mind just q-up, we could figure that out with the staff later. so when its my turn, i showed the tickets to the cashier. she confirmed with me that i wanted to go in that day (the expired date of the tickets was 30 june 2006 i think). she then passed me my receipt and three tags for us to go in. we had to scan the tags. once we entered, megat was like, "wow... best nye mama. lain kali kita boleh datang lagi!". yea... we can my dear. we went to the changing room and change our out-fit. people were looking at me one kind only when they saw me wearing my swim-suit grr... like megat said, the place was really awesome! we really had fun there until we didn't realize that we were there playing with water for almost five hours plus. after our first meal at coffee bean earlier, we only had our next meal maybe at 5.45 at the ipoh garden's pizza hut. according to puteri, that place is much more better than bukit merah lake town resort. well i dunno because i've never been to its theme park yet. puteri and megat went there (bukit merah) before with cousin sarah and her hubby.

our last-minute of holiday together was really a good one. we will do it again next time. earlier plan was that i would spend my last weekend of 2005 in jb with a blogger friend. she wanted to bring me around to singapore as well. but i've to forget about it since i had to attend a seminar in seberang jaya on thursday evening. never mind friend maybe some other time yea...

1st day of hari raya...

...yesterday was damn busy as usual, like those years back. my staff didn't have time to sit even for a second. i (of course) helped them to fight too! lol... fight with the customers... hehe... rotfl... no lar... where we could fight with customer, no way... i mean, i also "turun padang" to join my staff with the busy situation. anyhow i sent my staff to perform their raya prayers while i stand-by at the cashier counter alone. it was damn silent then but as soon as people finished their raya prayers, it was damn busy non-stop till to-date.

megat & auntie mek

i went back at mid-day as relatives kept coming to our house. everyone from near and far were here. my staff also came after they have finished their work. not forgetting my god-mother auntie mek (pronounced mik) who came all the way from ipoh just to visit us for hari raya along with her dot dot dot and dot dot dot, in two other cars. i could say that it was her unofficial trip as there was no official protocol or what so ever. as usual, my sister came with her digital camera when we were at the dining room with auntie mek. "ahhh... this is the hardest part when ina is around", auntie mek said after a few bites of my sister's home-made muffin, followed by a quick laughed by all of us. before auntie mek went off, she gave the kids duit raya. guess what she created a new category under "unmarried" that make my unmarried sisters, brother and cousins also got the chance to receive duit raya from auntie mek and thats including me! lol... ;)

yea... my sister took most of the pics yesterday. i'll update them here after sunday 6 november 2005.

since visitors non-stop coming to our house, my sisters and cousins including me went to our grand-auntie's house later in the evening. we just visit her for the sake of meeting her for hari raya. we then adjourned to another grand-auntie's (late grand-pa's sisters) house around there too. then the last house that we went to was my dad's youngest sister. really had a heavy meals there *phew*

since we are in the millenium years, i also received lotsa raya sms'. these were part of them:

Selamat Hari Raya. From Akiko.

... plus many many more. sometimes i wonder that no one seems to care about the traditional way of sending the hari raya cards anymore. for me, wishes thru cards are more meaningful. but i myself didn't have the time to do that this year. so i didn't buy any single greeting cards from my favourite gift shop memory lane. anyhow i still have to dig some from our old stocks. this is because i still received some raya cards and i have to reply them, namely to auntie gai. she was together with us during my beijing trip last august. in her card, she told me that she will be joining her son who is an accountant to riyadh (insya allah) in october 2006. i also got one card from my first bf, rizal who is now based in ipk jhb (hmm... wonder whether sheryl stumbled into him there lol...). well no matter how i will definitely reply all the cards that i have received.
