there’s always room for improvement, after all.
but, i have been doing a better job at this. not consistently, i might add. in fact, i still have some emails to which ineed want to respond. overall, though, i’m happy with my increase in correspondence.
i must admit that Facebook has helped a bit i.e. here. it’s easy to poke and message people here and there, or upload a few photos. it works both ways… some people are hesitant to send too many emails to travellers, as they worry it takes up limited internet time. or they believe that they’re not doing anything interesting enough to warrant writing about. it’s surprising how much more aware i am of the goings-on in the lives of my friends and rellies on Facebook.
