good & bad start...........

first of all, happy new year 2012 everyone... may all lives in peace and harmony, and have more success in the future. its norm this wish have been posted everywhere ― text, social media sites, etc. and i am glad to be one of them who are still able to do it, all thanks to Him.

so how's your new year celebration people. i end-up being all alone in this part of the world. i just dunno why on earth he did that to me. i know being a single mother is uneasy, especially to go out for a date. he was the first one to ask me about the long weekend. alright, fine. i did ask him again early this week to reconfirm. if not i could have just make other plans. right? since he said its confirmed, i still blocked it for him. well he called me up mid-day on the new year eve. we talked about some plans meeting other friends. and since i am not comfortable with them, he asked my consent for him to reject their invitation and wanted to call me again later of the day. too bad i didn't hear nothing from him again. hey! i know you are a nice guy but why did you do this to me. be a gentleman will you, and act something like make-up with me or something duh!

at this time puteri and megat were with my sisters and cousins respectively. i spent first part of my long holidays (yes, i was on long holidays from the day i went to jb and will start work on this coming tuesday), with them and thought would be good to have some time for myself too! i know i know i owe lots of blog post, from how i started my life in kl, my kids' and many more. this will be in my to-do list for 2012 new year's resolutions.

anyhow let bygones be bygones i wanna create all new for this time around:

• a surprised note from a senior's bbm really surprised me this morning. was that a good start for moi or what. guess i shall leave it till everything confirm and i ensure to blog about it then. at least there's more blog post here hehee...


• i wanna reactive blogging for sure. i assume given almost a year being in kl should be good enough for me to cope with my surroundings *winks*


• got to make sure to save again on our (kids and mine) asb monthly no matter what! 2011 has been a tough year on my financial really. so i have to give it a go for the betterment of our future for now..............


• besides line dancing i wish to get back in to my sport shoes for my morning walk. i did it for the first time since i am in kl last friday, at the klcc park! it was awesome i tell you. it was really a good start for myself.


• as i wrote here i love the old school ways of getting and receiving greeting cards via snail mail. do you know the blog post has been published in the lifestyle pullout of sunday star. so if you are with me, do email me your name and snail mail address. i would love to do it with you no matter what seasons i.e. cny, eid mubarak, deepavali, christmas etc. or wherever you are in the globe!


• not forgetting, to be more success in my life, work and everything insya-Allah.

back to basics(?)

i have made some changes to myself today while both my kids gone to school this morning. megat smiled at me from ear-to-ear as soon as he saw me. but when asked, he said that there's actually nothing. it seems that he just likes to smile at his beloved mama. ok ok... i know that i have a best son ever that i could have in the world. megat is the type who do not like being sarcastic especially with his mama. so i guess to be on the safe side, better still he don't say nothing. that's why he only smiled when he saw me in school this afternoon. since i was not satisfied with that, i asked megat directly whether he likes what he sees. he smiled again. so to get straight to the point i asked him whether he likes my current or previous appearance. guess what people. megat likes the previous one!

eventually he has never seen me with black hair thats why. i had to explain to megat that jet black was my original hair colour. i started to colour my hair since about more than 10 years ago (check-out my favourite hair colour ever brand here; i have never used others ever since then though). besides that i have been having a long straight hair all the while. so i thought that its better for me to have some changes instead. i braved myself to cut it two years ago.

when i felt that my hair has already grown rapidly fast during that two years, i decided to cut it again on mid december last year. i am sure most of you people have already seen quite a number of my new hair's pics here in my blog lately right. while the idea of having black hair had been bugging me for quite some time as well... alas!

puteri was stunned too when she entered the car. she was like... "aikk?!!" hehee... puteri is ok with it anyway. for me, i feel like i am totally a new ladddyyyyy yet happily gesturing in to the great new years.

how is everyone doing over the new years. for myself, like i've mentioned earlier here, i am still on the go not till the very last minutes of school holidays, that is this sunday. so more updates should be typed very soon, as soon as i am back on track at least by early next week! at the meantime i have also bought myself a new year present i.e. starbuck's planner 2009. the main reason: to make sure that i jot down whatever plans/daily schedules in a way to be rememberred or in other words, to get myself more organized in this upcoming new years *big grin* i will make sure to bring it everywhere i go, insya ALLAH; till then...

on the last day of 2008...

i have been out with my life diamonds since this afternoon. our first stop was straight to collect puteri's tickets that she won. we had lunch there as well.

after much thinking of where to head to then, we decided to come over here at the curve (again!). lucky us that we managed to get an easy parking at ikano earlier. there was a road closure until tomorrow, at the one going in to the curve. i guess its all gonna be ready for the countdown tonight. we could see that a stage has been set-up for the purpose. this time we were chilling around starbucks outlet in borders. about an hour or so ago, both my kiddos have left me here alone, to join puteri's boy friend (a budak koleq i tell you...) who came here to jalan-jalan with them. at first of course he thought of strolling with puteri alone, but me being a concerned mother, asked her to bring megat too! *glurp* the last i checked a few minutes ago, there were having some meals at mcD in cineleisure :)

now as for me, probably i shall have some splendid moment all to myself at urban retreat here at the curve *winks*

so what's everyone up to for this last day of 2008. i do not have the time to post any this year's reviews and what's not. i also don't think i will make any new year's resolution, as its quite tough to make one! anyhow maybe i will do it when i am back on track next week. at the meantime, happy new year! see you all in 2009...

welcome 2008...

this is the day children from all over the country started their school days for the year 2008.

we went out of the house about 6.50am. there were some traffic jams when we were heading to sekolah atas bukit, as expected. wa lau ley... some people still send their children to school right up to the front (i mean... they would parked the car, and go down personally with their children in to the school'
compound) even though the children are big enough to do everything her/himself. i saw that situation at puteri's school, when some parents (both father and mother occay?!!), came out from the school' gate :P don't tell me they wanna pay for the children's school fees. even megat can do it himself already. fyi megat now is in year three, while puteri is in form two.

anyhow for megat, i did send him to the classroom, since this is his first day in year three. on the other hand, starting this year, his school is located in town thats specially for year three to year six children. take note that the one near malay college is only for year one and two. while there, we discussed of where i shall drop him and wait for him every day at school from now onwards. oh... forgot to mention to you people that the school also is only few blocks away from none other than yut loy! thats even on the same row, of the main road in town occay?!! hehee... now we shall expect that i will drop-by yut loy more often :) hmm... senang ler nak order pau ek? lol...

owh... how time flies so fast... megat is such a big boy himself now. megat was busy talking with his friends when i interrupted him, saying that i wanted to go home. "okay... bye ma!", megat said while waving his right hand to me. "oik! no more salam and kissing your mama?", i asked him. megat just smiled. i know that he was shy, kissing his mom infront of his friends. but when he realized that i was a bit dissappointed, he came to me whose standing at the classroom door, then salam and kissed me.

oh yes... as you could see from the pics, megat's school is one of the oldest schools in kuale, besides rpk (sekolah atas bukit), koleq and clifford. so don't be surprised to see an old building there. nonetheless, the classroom is already equipped with projector set with slides, hang on top of the blackboard. yes... blackboard! i know i know... some of the new schools these days don't use blackboard no more but they use whiteboard instead.

guess what people... some parents were looking at me one kind only... ya lor... no other parents especially mothers snapped pics of their children at school like i did this morning hehe... let it be! they dunno that megat's mother is a blogger and like what i mentioned many times before, we bloggers NEVER leave home without a camera!!! bwahahahaaa... :D
