scrabulous is now lexulous

the scrabulous makers got sued by hasbro, the makers of scrabble; then scrabulous was taken down for a while. now the scrabulous game is back online exactly the same but at a new site, www.lexulous.com for any who care.

favicons are fun

i first been introduced to favicon by maro^gal via nuffnang's innit. then i was like-- "holy sh*t... that's soooooooo damnnnnn simple!". before that i was wondering like hell of how ler people do it on their site. and when i go through her tutorial, i immediately placed mine on my blogs since then. it was really easy i tell you.

if you find this thingy new to you, well its a small image that is generally used to reflect the identity of a web site. you can find it in the address bar, in your browser's tabs, in the list of bookmarks or in some feed readers. it's normally in a 16x16 pixels image, a standard size for favicons. worry no more, cuz favicon.cc can help you create or download favicon.ico icons with their cool tools ;)

i definitely agreed with Dragon Blogger. when we click on our bookmarks, all we need to see is the favicon to know what we want to click on, by not even have to read the bookmark title. its very helpful, right? besides the fun-ness of using it.

here's some of the favicons that i like, which is also the one that i most browse daily-- from top to bottom, in no particular order: last.fm, scrabulous, all recipes, Facebook, Nuffnang, Mail.com, Google, SocialSpark and CIMBClicks.

and most importantly... here's my cute favicon. eh... cute ke? hehee... its the same pic that i use for my profile pic ;)

of where kuE live...

this is basically where i live, of which is my hometown too--

can you see the railway station location there? our place is somewhere there ler... so if any of you people happened to be here, knock! knock! ler occay? ;)

eas some of you people may know, i am so glad of this wonderful royal town of kuala kangsar, in the state of perak, malaysia. i blog about it many times, like this one, or maybe i shall ensure to type in "kuala kangsar" in each post' label columns.

part of kuale's landmarks are like istana (palace) iskandariah and masjid (mosque) ubudiah and the recent one like jambatan (bridge) sayong. go to knizam's this blog entry for night views of the bridge. i found a wonderful blog post about kuale in this blog. it can be a very good guide for whoever wanna visit the town too. tqsm!

you know what people... its been so sad and shameful that some local people, mainly in other states especially, still dunno of kuale's location. well enough said if i answered to their inquiry, they know that its in perak, ok ler tu... but too bad they will happily said, "ohh... perlis?" duh!... like recently, a new bank officer that has been transfered to a local bank said the same thing. what a shame! worked in the bank industry some more... do i have to mention the name of the bank here? hehe...

a new online friend i met yesterday at scrabulous site, happily said that our country is-- "interesting, a place with lots of fish farming". fyi this is the main reason for this blog post. a former supervisor at a hotel i worked in subang jaya before, told us that his university mate in switzerland only knew about penang, when he mentioned about the country ;) well its better than nothing right. some knew us because of klcc. whatever it is find out more about malaysia truly asia from the tourism malaysia site here. there are even some special campaigns for visit states of terengganu, kedah and kelantan this year. so make sure you check it out ya... cuti-cuti malaysia...

some people still dunno malaysia(?)

i was playing an online board game similar to scrabble, lexulous a while ago, with a guy/gal (screen name: westieluva) from nyc. believe it or not he/she asked me of where malaysia is, as soon as i typed my location on the shoutbox blerk! what-the-heck! haluuu... you were the first one who asked me that sort of Q ever since i joined lexulous (formerly scrabulous) early this year.

now let me stressed out here— take note that people like disney on ice and harry connick jr plus many more placed malaysia on their asian' tour list. what's more when our country is included in the F1 race. too bad you dunno us boo!... :P

westieluva was leading the game in the first place. but i managed to win towards the end of it... hah! that served and proved it to you that no one can play-play with me :~)
