think funeral. think marriage. think family.

i would like to thank zuhri for posting this, that now i am sharing it with my other friends...

for me, this commercial was a deep and poignant message of the beauty of imperfection and the unconditional love a family brings, it certainly captured me when i first saw it.

"funeral" was a tvc launched by the ministry of community development, youth and sports (MCYS) singapore which looks at relationships in a different light, through a woman at her husband's funeral. ultimately, the tvc celebrates the beautiful imperfections that make a relationship perfect.

monday blues? nah...

although i am here in kualè, thanks to this internet thingy i found out that someone painted a mural of yasmin ahmad by pasar seni' lrt.

check out this graffiti tribute to yasmin ahmad from artists jeng and kioue. its truly a master piece indeed! that i think it should be left there. seeing this really brighten up my monday—

al-fatihah to yasmin ahmad...

width="280"

i am so deeply saddened by the news of yasmin ahmad's death. we heard about it in the tv3 night line earlier. she died about an hour ago.

yasmin was such an amazing woman who touched the lives of many; especially with her creativity that could be seen in many petronas' ads which would certainly be missed by viewers this year. thus i am so proud to say that my lil' bro was the sound man for her movie sepet (official website here) and most of her petronas' tvc.

her passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of all those who knew her. yasmin ahmad will always remain within our heart.

my sincere thoughts and prayers are with her and her family...

with deepest sympathy,
