butterfly every where

its showering outside. i am posting this from home while other people already at work ;) well eventually i didn't go down to my office at all yesterday. i was just relaxing in the comfort of my cooling room. maybe i needed another day break after my birthday hehe... big boss never said anything though. he saw me in my casual mode, and said nothing, that's all.what when since i put on my new butterfly quilt set on the birthday night. some of you may already know that i LOVE butterfly so much!!! i can't resist myself to leave my bed lol... cantik kan? actually i bought that many months ago at aussino in gurney plaza. when i bought it, i already decided that i would use it on my 35th birthday. fyi i am the one who don't simply buy bed linen set just like that. i will always think whether it would match my bedroom (blue, yellow and white colour with butterfly!) or not. so as you could see although i do not own much bed linen set, i would ensure that it is in good condition every time.

other than that maybe because of my new toy. you know... just like small kids who have got something new teheehee... i have been trying my new olympus fe-230 i.e. check-out all the features, read the manual, browsing thru reviews online etc.

decorating ideas

NAH and Leilanie' comments about my bedroom last week inspired me to post this. fyi i love interior design so much besides my other self-taught hobby that is quilting. i pick-up all those skills from magazines, tvs and other source of media. never learned them professionally anyway.

regards to the feature wall of my bedroom, i got the idea from an overseas magazine that i bought- better homes and gardens spring/summer 2003 issue ~ 100 decorating ideas under $100. i have longing for that type of design but it took me quite some time because the paint in my room was torn. besides my life commitments doesn't let me to. so during a school holidays about two years ago, i asked one of my staff to help me doing the paint work. it was an easy job as no one was around the house that time except my dad. whatever it is, we completed it the whole day from +/- 9am to 9pm *phew*

my plans for my bedroom not finished there yet. i have ordered for a laminated floor from a shop in ipoh. they are just waiting for me to fix an appointment for them to come over to do the measurements, quotations etc. i'm a busy-woman i tell you hehe... then, i will get someone to do a built-in cupboard i have been dreaming of, like those in one of the magazines i bought too! omg... i hope this will all be completed by this year or maybe early next year.

a view from the room door- day and night curtains and the lamp-shades also the white fabric roman blinds from where else but ikea. check-out my other antique item that is my late grand-pa's desk. its still in the original colour but i'm gonna paint it white and turned it into a dressing table. guess what i'm gonna paint the antique bed white too!

yes its true... thats me! i guess this blogs thing really makes my mind wanna think a lot and eager to try so many new stuff especially in this cyber world. i'm not the IT gal, 'can do lar...'. my sister is really into this business but i dun dare to ask her. i think i would rather try to venture this myself.

i've changed my page lay-out. i like this one better as it looks more classic, soft and damn cute. i think this is in-line with my interest in english/country style. even my bedroom too! i would feel damn relax when i'm sleeping there especially with the coolness of the air-conditioner. i got one of my staff to help me to paint it last year. its white with yellow as the feature wall. its not completely ready yet tho'. i wanna order a built-in cupboard (in the mid of saving ;) ), also to paint my antique bed and desk white to match with the wall. my bedroom theme is definitely gonna be BUTTERFLY!!! which is my all time favourite. the picture shown above is only part of my room. i'll post more as soon as its ready :)

alright, V called yesterday evening when i brought grandma to the clinic. he was calling from ipoh, telling me that he will be in alor setar last nite. he is having a meeting there the following morning (today). i did ask him to drop-by on his way back to kuala lumpur today. it seems someone is following him back. i told him, "kot nak makan kat tepi sungai ke... lol". anyway he said that he will let me know if he wanna stop here.
